
The Kappa logo called “Omin”, is is a silhouette of a man (left) and woman (right) sitting back to back in the nude. It was created in 1969 by mere accident.
Kappa is an Italian sportswear brand founded in 1978. Founded as a sock and underwear firm in Turin in 1916, it became Kappa in 1967, Kappa became a household name by embracing Europe’s football culture, kitting out the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Barcelona, Roma, the Italian national side and even the 1984 US Olympic team.
