
Formed in 1988, Saudi Aramco is the state-owned oil company of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is by far the biggest energy company in the world.
Saudi Aramco origins trace to the WWI, when the California-Arabian Standard Oil (CASOC) founded in 1933, the company name was changed to Arabian American Oil Co. (Aramco) in 1944.
