The current Merck Group logo was released in 2015, and designed by FutureBrand. The ‘Vibrant M’ became a key signifier of the brand and an inventive way of presenting a consistent symbol worldwide without conflicting with ‘the other Merck’.

By making the shift from a chemical and pharmaceutical company to one of vibrant science and technology, Merck now have the brand identity that allows them to show the world their true colours.

Founded in 1668, the Merck Group is a German multinational chemical, pharmaceutical and life sciences companys. It is the world’s oldest operating chemical and pharmaceutical company, as well as one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world.
