Coca-Cola logo

Coca-Cola is a carbonated soft drink (simply as Coke) produced in the United States and sold throughout the world.

Originally intended as a patent medicine, Coca-Cola was invented in the late 19th century by John Pemberton, Asa Griggs Candler bought out the Coca-Cola’s formula and led Coke to its dominance of the world soft-drink market throughout the 20th century.

The Coca-Cola logo was designed by Frank Mason Robinson in 1885. Robinson is John Pemberton’s bookkeeper, he came up with the name and chose the logo’s distinctive cursive script, that known as Spencerian script.
